About the Role:

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be at the heart of shaping the user experience of Harness products. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create elegant, user-focused solutions. This role covers the entire design lifecycle — from user research and ideation to prototyping and final interface design. Your work will directly influence how millions of developers interact with Harness tools, making them more efficient and enjoyable to use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user and business requirements.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, flow diagrams, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Incorporate user feedback and analytics into product enhancements.
• Advocate for design-driven product improvements.
• Ensure designs balance functionality, aesthetics, and technical feasibility.

Key Technical Skills:

Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, Wireframing, Prototyping, User Research, Visual Design, SaaS Design, Figma (or similar tools), Communication Skills, Problem-Solving

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in product or UX design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing complex, user-friendly solutions.
• Excellent understanding of UX principles and visual design aesthetics.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience working from concept to launch in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years’ experience designing complex SaaS products (cybersecurity or developer tools a plus).
• 1+ year leading large-scale design projects.
• Solid understanding of technical constraints in software products.
